De Trofeeën zijn ontstaan tijdens het creëren van De Beste in Make Eindhoven. Geïnspireerd door het proces van aluminium gieten en mijn reflecties over (on)zichtbare status, transformeerde de oorspronkelijke serie in deze nieuwe vorm.

 

*Ik had een artist in residence werkperiode bij gieterij Make Eindhoven, mede mogelijk gemaakt door het Mondriaan Fonds. Daarbij werd een publicatie uitgegeven bij Onomatopee, opgericht door Freek Lomme, met bijdragen van Lucette ter Borg, Sara Bay Williams, Renske Janssen en Freek Lomme. Mede mogelijk gemaakt door Stichting Stokroos.

The Trophies emerged during the creation of The Best at Make Eindhoven. Inspired by the process of aluminum casting and my reflections on (in)visible status, the original series transformed into this new form.

 

I participated in an artist-in-residence program at the foundry Make Eindhoven, made possible with support from the Mondriaan Fund. A publication was released by Onomatopee, founded by Freek Lomme, with contributions from Lucette ter Borg, Sara Bay Williams, Renske Janssen, and Freek Lomme. Also supported by Stichting Stokroos.
